Our signature memory care program, The Garden Place, includes a comprehensive holistic approach that stimulates connections through sensory games, movement, food, music and art.
Memory changes impact our ability to remember, communicate and handle daily activities. This can be extremely difficult for individuals and particularly stressful for family members. Managing life with memory loss, specifically dementia and Alzheimer’s, requires experienced care and support. The more you learn about memory impairment, the better equipped you are to cope with the changes your loved one will experience. At Calyx, our experienced team will support you and your family through every step.
Memory Care Services
We believe that life skills should be reinforced and maintained, as much as possible. That’s why our memory care residents enjoy access to many of the amenities and services available at Calyx Living. Our goal is to reduce worry while improving day-to-day engagement.

Memory care residents at Calyx are immersed in a therapeutic activity program designed to engage their imagination, promote creativity and enhance physical skills. All programs are guided by our warm, familiar team members in an atmosphere that’s meaningful and enjoyable.

The Garden Place at Calyx Living is a safe, nurturing environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect. Individual care needs and group activities help to stimulate interaction, increase willingness to participate in daily routines and elevate attitudes.
We understand the confusion, and even fear, that people with memory loss experience and how this can trigger challenging behaviors. For our memory loss residents, we modify the environment, change our behavior and expectations, and manage personal interactions to improve their lives both socially and emotionally.
